Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials are coming to Rooster’s on the Oxford square on Wednesday, a rare visit to the town by a national blues act. Lil Ed is one of the blues’ premier slide guitarists; he learned to play in that style from his uncle, the great bluesman J.B. Hutto. He’s also a great showman, as you can see in the following clip.

I would guess Mr. O’Brien is now an “Ed Head” we love the whole band Ed, Kelly, Pooky, and Mike, now he is just a sweet heart. Can’t wait till Thursday at Murphy’s (Omaha), Friday at ZOO Bar (Lincoln)
